It’s hard to read this sub sometimes.
Claims are not evidence. Even if there are many claims. Even if the sources are reputable.
I agree that the claims over the years are disturbing and should be investigated.
But these claims, even Sheehan’s most recent claims, are not evidence. Period. If you are convinced that there is non-human intelligence and it has visited earth and crashed here and we have reverse engineering programs, then you are irrational. There is absolutely no evidence to support this.
We have had claims from first-hand observers. We have had claims from reputable sources. This has been going on for decades. The only difference now is the number of claims. Nobody has provided evidence.
I believe the claims are plausible. I think it’s plausible the government is suppressing evidence. None of this convinces me that the claims are true. And it shouldn’t convince you either.
Also, evidence for a disinformation campaign is not evidence for the claim. This is fallacious thinking.
If you predict the evidence is coming soon, well, many have been predicting that for a long time. All I can say is I hope you’re right! Until then, remain unconvinced.
I think many of you share this epistemology. But I know from reading this sub that many are convinced and shouldn’t be.
