David Hume: “…no testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind, that its falsehood would be more miraculous, than the fact, which it endeavors to establish.” – Have you seen something that fits this standard?

I have. I have the feeling that many people haven’t. A great many people have seen things which can be easily explained. I feel more alienated (no pun intended) than ever when I see a UFO / UAP video that I see as easily explainable. It seems that no one has seen the things I have seen, and some of those that claim to have, are obviously just lying. I wonder, does anyone relate to this?

I hold no strict assumptions about the nature of this phenomenon. I know a two things for sure through my own experience:

The phenomenon is be observable by multiple people at one time, to the point where those people, seperated, would describe the same event. I know because I saw it with another person. (Ruling out typical hallucination) The phenomenon is not explainable by todays science.

I assume:

The phenomenon aims to be seen. It does not “hide” from the observer, but the phenomenon “hides” from the general public. The phenomenon is highly personal. It communicates with the observer, it knows the observer.

This leaves a few explanations:

Group hallucination is possible, not only that, it is capable of extreme synchronisity in the observers, such that the observers see the same things at the same time. There is a phenomenon that can project things into a person, or group or persons, mind/s. Much like the previous point but induced. Something like a “havana syndrome”, except far more sophisticated (and for some reason targeting ordinary people? Although, with some minor defense/military background) The phenomenon is as real as anything else. It is material as the keyboard I am writing this with. Some mix of the above.

I have had years to think about it. At one point I was thinking about it probably once a day for a half a year.

I wonder if I am alone in this. Sometimes I really believe I am.

EDIT:

Actually, I saw something twice. First time I explained it away, although it nagged at me, second time I could not explain it away without breaking the Humes standard. I used to laugh at the phenomenon…
