Dinosaurs were only discovered in 1678, but we really didn’t know until the 1820’s

As always, I’ll begin with my standard disclaimer of I’m a skeptic. But a simple food for thought crossed my mind.

Dinosaurs roamed earth for 100,000,000 years before their extinction. We first discovered bones properly in 17th century UK. The term Dinosauria was coined in 1842 with the introduction of the field of Paleontology.

In terms of time scales, we’ve only pretty much just discovered dinosaurs. Long after we started to use them as combustion fuel.

From my understanding, there was a little over 2 billion of them total.

If there are archeological specimens of NHI presence, they would be so few and far between, that it’s understandable that not many are claimed to be found this way
