Government’s Alien Weaponization: Ignorance and Potential Consequences

With all the talk and old documents resurfacing about the idea of harnessing alien technology and converting it into weapons for potential protection against extraterrestrial threats, I find myself pondering why we seem to be oblivious to the possibility that they possess numerous other advanced weapons to employ against us. If such an endeavor is indeed taking place, I question why the government perceives it as even remotely a prudent course of action.
