Here we go, a new breed of hoaxers….

A new era is here in Ufology.

We now have ordinary citizens with the ability to offer several hundreds of thousands of dollars as a bounty. This bounty is offered as a proof of hoax.

Proof of hoax is only reserved for those UFO videos that make it through most superficial analysis. It’s for those videos in which the hoaxer(s) spend an adequate amount of time and true skills to dupe the world.

Today, we have seen that if any hoaxer can get their videos absorbed into the UFO/Paranormal zeitgeist, then they have a BIG payday coming $$$.

The MH370 hoax went on for longer than expected. Resulting in a prominent figure in the computer world offering $150,000 for proof of the hoax.

Just like there’s a $5,000-$30,000 bounty out now for the SkinnyBob.info debunk.

Millionaires are created be the hour in the US, it seems. So it’s only a matter of time before hoaxers pour more effort into their videos in order to get a bitcoin tossed their way.

And where does that leave the community?

There’s nothing really we can do, just be aware of what the landscape is now. Video and photographic evidence is the last thing we will be asking for in the next couple of years.
