I haven’t found a lot of solid information on the topic, but what do the more prominent personalities in the UfO sphere have to say about this? This seems like such a while sentence to type, but what does Tom DeLonge say about it? Robert Monroe? Jacques Vallee? Etc.

It seems like these folks are fairly certain of the spiritual side of the ufo/NHI phenomenon, but how does that overlap with the afterlife?
