Hey guys. So I know a lot of us like to speculate on why we can’t have full disclosure. I’m sure national security and military secrets are a huge part of it. A lot of people have also speculated as to the interdimensional/angelic/demonic/trickster nature of the phenomena.
For anyone familiar with demon lore, you probably know that saying a demon’s name or being afraid of it/just plain knowing about it can give it strength, supposedly. I don’t necessarily buy that, or any of it, but I thought its worth speculating on.
What if that’s why we can’t have full disclosure? Maybe our government really did make a pact with a demonic force. Maybe over time they realized the things they were given in return really aren’t worth all that much to us. Maybe they realized they were actually being lied to quite a bit. Maybe they also realized that interacting with these beings gives them strength.
It’s honestly the only good reason I can think of to not disclose that doesn’t make the government out to be evil. Maybe us all knowing and believing in the phenomenon would actively be to our detriment.
Again, pretty out there. I don’t believe this. But I do think it’s worth questioning, especially given the whole trickster theory.
