I GIVE UP!!! WHAT ARE THEY??

I sit out, northern New Jersey, most nights and watch the sky. Partly hoping for a chance to see something other worldly.
Every night I see these “lights”. I don’t know what they are. People say they are satellites or spy planes.
My beliefs… satellites don’t have lights bright enough to be seen from earth. Spy planes don’t fly at night with bright lights, especially 2 or 3 over head at a time. So.. WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY???.
