If we have all these backup plans for disclosure, why is our government dragging their feet so much?

We have 40+ whistleblowers, journalists are becoming more interested in this, we have schumer, biden, president obama all talking about this. Do they really think it’s going to go away this time? Do these octagenarian hyper boomers not understand how the internet works? Are they stuck in their old ways thinking this coverup will be like all the others they have done the last 100+ years?

You would think they are going to end up with egg on their face at the end of all this, “the wrong side of history” as it were.

So what could their motivation be for covering this stuff up if they know it’s going to get out eventually anyway?
