Earlier today, Lockheed Martin X’d (tweeted) a link to learn more about their Hypersonic research. The link lands on page that gives an overview of their Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) system; however, the artist’s rendering used for the tweet seems to be derived from their HALO program (Hypersonic Air-Launched Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare).
“HALO enables carrier-based aircraft to conduct high-speed stand-off strikes against high-value surface threats so the U.S. Navy can operate in and control contested battlespaces (artist’s concept).”
I can’t help but notice the classic “sci-fi” look of the imagery.
Why post this now and on this day?
Why an image of what appears to be an artist’s concept of a hypersonic… plane?
Is this a message stating that their hypersonic program goes deeper than defense and weapons systems? The image is clearly a craft flying above the clouds.
The political controversy the UAP Disclosure Act has caused in the last few days may have something to do with this. Lockheed Martin is in the spotlight along with their counterparts, many of whom are competing to deliver this next-level technology. Maybe it’s just me, but I had to take pause when I saw that X (tweet?) of a Sci-Fi craft. It immediately came off as a statement to me, but maybe I am just reading in too deep 😆. As soon as I saw the picture and read into the way they are portraying these programs on their website, my EXACT thought process was: “Defense contractors, UFOs, reverse engineering, disclosure. They can’t hide it any longer… don’t want to look too terrible when it all comes out… need more money from Congress. Need more time. Wait! Hypersonic airplanes, that’s what we’ll tell ‘em! They weren’t expecting this to unravel so fast. Russia, China, did they make a breakthrough? Does disclosure coincide with announcing advanced weapons technology and are they going to use that as a distraction or a pathetic last-ditch effort to cover? All this happening at once? Now Lue Elizondo is saying they have a Plan B and C for pushing disclosure? Eh… time to smoke some weed and play Ghosts of Tsushima….”
More on the hypersonic stuff…
US defense contractors have been competing to deliver our military with hypersonic weapons and defense systems. An obvious and distressing response to knowledge of China and Russia having developed this technology, and that they have potentially moved beyond weapons testing.
