Is this a satellite? (or drone)

Sorry for the janky one-hand filming. This was a very bright moving “star”, but my phone could not pick up the actual stars/planets, so this was as bright as a plane. There was a thin high cloudline this was moving across, so it felt low, like a drone. Moving in one vector slowly and steadily like a drone. Personally felt like a drone, below the thin high cloudline. Then fades out to dull red then disappears. Are satellites that bright? Do (police?) drones fly with that kind of static light, then no lights?

It was roughly 8-8:15 pm est on the east coast us, and I was facing south-west. I saw it very low in the sky just “a story” above the houses across the street. It was moving eastward slowly. I think I have seen satellites before, and this felt very slow. But it also felt low, because in the time I was clumsy filming, it was just passing overhead/north going eastward by the time it started to fade.

Too bad no crazy movement involved here besides being slow/steady, and I can see why a satellite would fade overhead going eastward just after the sunset, but that bright? Your thoughts would be appreciated, because I want to be informed if this does not qualify as anomalous.
