I’m based out of Boston. Literally 30 minutes ago. I was walking with my baby and I looked up and saw what I thought was a black balloon. It was moving quickly and erratically, but it’s also overcast and windy right now. But immediately I just felt like something was weird about it.
It was zigzagging around the height of the tree line and that’s was caused me to notice why I thought it was weird. It was moving against the direction of the wind. My next thought was drone, but that’s when I noticed that it wasn’t even balloon shaped (much less drone shaped); it was a perfect sphere.
The thing that really convinced me was that it moved from basically across the street from me to over the horizon in about 10-15 seconds. I’m no pilot, but that doesn’t seem possible to me. Anybody else see this? Anybody have any regular explanations or reasonable guesses?
