Main events in the modern UFO timeline (mid aughts – today)?

Hey all, I’m making a list for a friend of all the major milestones and events in recent UFO history. This would really encompass anything from early to mid 2000s up to today.

My goal is to create some kind of living history artifact that shows how we got to where we are today – particularly for the uninitiated.

I’d love this group’s thoughts on my current list and any other major events you think help paint the picture of the modern UFO/UAP narrative.

Here’s some examples of major events:

First Tic-Tac sightings and the Fravor incident Early gov programs like AATIP, AAWSAP, etc. Activities involving Bigelow and BASS 12/16/2017 front page NYT article To the Stars Academy creation and all that follows Release of Gimbal and Go Fast videos Emergence of characters like Elizondo, Mellon, Nolan, etc. Contributions of Knapp, Corbell, Coulthart, and other journalists 60 Minutes special String of guests on Rogan (Fravor, Lazar, Mellon, Valleé, etc.) Shift to more serious tone in reporting among mainstream news outlets Creation of AARO and subsequent hearings and releases Involvement of legislators like Reid, Rubio, Gillibrand, Burchett, etc. Creation of whistleblower protection act UAP/Chinese Spy Baloon sightings and shoot downs (Alaska, SC coast) Emergence of David Grusch July 2023 testimony before congress (Grusch, Graves, Fravor)
