My Message to Congressman (aka reminder to contact your legislators TODAY)

It’s very important that Congress hear from us TODAY. This is the first day back for the staffers, who are the ones that read the mail and let the politician know which of their constituencies is making noise. Here is what I sent my person in the House. Feel free to copy it.

——

I am writing to express my ardent support for the inclusion of the UAP Disclosure Act of 2023 (Schumer-Rounds Amendment) in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2024 (NDAA).

The House Armed Services Committee, led by Congress Mike Rogers (R-AL), intends to exclude the Schumer-Rounds Amendment in its version of the NDAA.

Please use any political leverage you possess to stop these efforts.

It is vitally important that Congress takes action to increase transparency on the UAP issue. The late Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) was quoted in an April 30, 2021 article in The New Yorker, stating that Lockheed Martin possesses crashed UAP material:

“I was told for decades that Lockheed had some of these retrieved materials,” he said. “And I tried to get, as I recall, a classified approval by the Pentagon to have me go look at the stuff. They would not approve that. I don’t know what all the numbers were, what kind of classification it was, but they would not give that to me.”

“How the Pentagon Started Taking U.F.O.s Seriously,” The New Yorker, 4/30/2021.

On July 26, 2023, the American people watched former government officials give sworn testimony to the House Oversight Committee about UAP, including David Grusch, Maj. USAF (Ret.)—a member of DOD’s UAP Task Force—who stated that he “was informed, in the course of [his] official duties, of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program.”

In the wake of these stunning claims by federal officials, the People need and deserve answers.

Those of us who follow the UAP topic have heard, for decades now, that the “fact of” the UAP presence has been classified by the Executive Branch as “top secret.” Yet, it is hard to imagine that the Founders intended the present scenario, in which the federal government taxes the People to deal with a national security threat about which they are unaware.

The Schumer-Rounds Amendment seeks to reverse this deleterious policy in a responsible manner.
