Dr. Salon Hamid, an astronomer at Hampshire College, participated in a workshop on UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) organized by the National Science Foundation. This workshop brought together about 25 people from various backgrounds, including both skeptics and fervent believers in the presence of extraterrestrials. The main goal of the workshop was to reduce the stigma associated with the study of UAPs and to improve understanding and investigation of these phenomena without prejudice. Dr. Hamid discussed different approaches to handling UAP testimonies and observations, emphasizing the importance of distinguishing personal experiences from concrete scientific evidence. Despite the debates, no tangible evidence of extraterrestrials was presented at the workshop.
