Not sure?

Need some opinions. Sighted in New Zealand. I’ve never believed in this stuff but last night from my hostel I saw this light in the sky. This was the only photo I could get, but I know nothing about this stuff. Can someone help analyse it? Please no funny comments. Just want honest opinion.
