I want the “Lue crew” to strike back hard. But what I want doesn’t matter. My general orientation is caution, but that doesn’t matter either.
What’s important is doing the most effective thing at the right time. Demanding individuals to break their NDA’s or spill the beans right now is too vague to be useful advice. It doesn’t really mean anything except that one wants momentary satisfaction.
When we want something done, we must ask do what, when, where, how? To answer these questions, you must have the appropriate information.
Like it or not, the circle of UFO people have more information than we do.
Because of Matt’s amazing efforts we have just learned that the UFO Caucus is trying to hire Grusch as an intel aid (for free). Had DG reflexively coughed up classified data under pressure, I doubt this opportunity would have presented itself. In the long term, it is likely more effective for disclosure to have Grusch actually working in Congress. So, what was the better move: Spilling the beans right now(!) because we want him to, or landing a spot where the action is?
Who ultimately knows? But it seems to me more strategic for Grusch to be in Congress than breaking his NDA, which would have resulted in nothing, or worse.
In the current situation, I have no idea what the best course of action is. Clearly people are upset and want a response from the UFO people. It may be wise for them to produce something (whatever that is) now. Maybe not. Who knows? I generally err on the side of caution because you have one chance to blow your load and if you are too early and miss, now you are in trouble.
At every turn, the question is what is the most effective move to advance disclosure? Deliberations require information. They have more, we have less. We can speculate but that’s it. Demanding caution or boldness is, at the end of the day, more about our feelings than what ought to be done. We can make suggestions based on what we know, and what we know for certain is that the UFO crew has to be careful about exaggerations because it annoys their allies (us), which is not good for anyone.
I suggest they do something within 2 weeks (haha). Honestly, I’m giving them several years in total. I can’t imagine anything less. Let them try another hearing (takes months to organize), some more articles (months), Grusch as aid (months) new whistleblowers (months), leaks (months). This will take multiple years.
