I watched the historical flight tracker radar for February 10th. I don’t have much use for it but thought someone else might find it useful. All radar information is for the same plane, an Air Force HC-130J, registration 15-5827. The HC-130J is “the only dedicated fixed-wing Personnel Recovery platform in the Air Force inventory” according to the Air Force and is capable of helicopter air-to-air refueling, which was shown in a previous video.
Note that the times below are taken from the timeline at the bottom of the screen, they are listed in Universal Time Code and I converted them to Alaskan Standard Time (GMT-9). I hope I’m getting the conversion right. So maybe someone can double check that.
The Flightradar24 information did not show a continuous flight path for 15-5827 from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay and I’m not sure why.
The UFO was detected by radar at 9pm, Alaska Standard Time (AKST) on Thursday, February 9th.
At 6:30am, 15-5827 has departed Fairbanks heading northwest for the Brooks Range.
Around 7:30am 15-5827 changes course and heads back over the Brooks Range.
At 8am 15-5827 has crossed the Brooks Range heading towards Prudhoe Bay.
By noon 15-5827 has finished searching the water off Prudhoe Bay and heads northwest.
A zoomed in view of the flight path of 15-5827 off Prudhoe Bay.
EDIT: screenshots didn’t make it into the final post for some reason. I’ve added them.
