Remember that orb the Pentagon filmed over an active combat zone in 2022? Yeah. One of those bad boys flew over my house when I was a kid. Same size, shape, and speed. I’m ready to talk about it. AMA.

I was a little kid growing up in the Midwest, back in the 70s. Star Wars wasn’t a thing yet. I hadn’t even heard of UFOs. One of the coolest things I’d ever seen was the little Cessna airplane flying over my house, about 500′ up. As I’m watching it casually pass overhead, a chrome sphere barely large enough to fit a small child inside flew a parallel trajectory to the Cessna, but at a much greater speed, maybe 400-500mph or so, compared to the Cessna’s 120mph. The orb briefly eclipsed the Cessna from my viewpoint, so I was easily able to gauge its size. My thought in the moment was “Only a kid could fly that thing, it’s so small!”. Just a second or two later it passed over some trees and I never saw it again.
