Response from Oregon Rep Andrea Salinas

December 6, 2023

Dear (Replaced with Cowboy pug in post),

Thank you for contacting my office to express your support for whistleblowers and UFO/UAP transparency. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the issues that matter to you. As your Representative, I highly value constituents sharing their opinions with me on all topics. Your involvement helps me represent you and the Sixth District of Oregon more effectively.

As the number of reported UFOs/UAPs has increased by 150 during the same several months of last year, I understand and hear your opinion that the U.S. government needs to be more transparent with the general public about UFOs/UAPs. Currently, the federal government says that UFOs/UAPs are balloons, drones or potentially adversaries trying to spy on our country. However, a few people who previously worked for the federal government have said otherwise.

To investigate this issue further, a House Oversight subcommittee held a bipartisan hearing about UFOs/UAPs on July 26, 2023. Invited to testify were former employees of the federal government who became whistleblowers including David Grusch, Ryan Graves and David Favor. In their testimony, they adamantly disagreed with previous statements from the federal government, and claimed that the government has UFOs/UAPs, identified UFOs/UAPs at crash sites, and that they have seen UFOs/UAPs. previously worked for the federal government and had knowledge of UFOs/UAPs.

There is also concern regarding senior officials’ treatment of federal government employees who become whistleblowers after pushing back against the federal government’s statements that there are no UFOs/UAPs. For David Grusch, he said he is facing retaliation but is unable to discuss additional details.

Please know that it is unacceptable to target federal employees who disagree with senior officials. Should legislation regarding UFOs/UAPs or protecting whistleblowers come to the House Floor for a vote, I will keep your opinion in mind.

Again, thank you for contacting me to share your support for whistleblowers and UFO/UAP transparency. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me on any other issue of importance to you in the future. You can reach my office in Washington, D.C. at (202) 225-5643 or my office in Salem at (503) 385-0906. Member of Congress

This was in reply message to a message I sent her regarding mental health services; a request that the state give services to those that have seen UAP or have been hurt by the disinformation campaigns being conducted.

I also want to include in this post another issue that my representative has been able to pass with bipartisan support (though the media would have you believe bipartisan support for any issue does not exist)

“Dear Friend,

I’d like to share some exciting news with you today.

Earlier this month, the first bill I introduced in Congress passed the House of Representatives with unanimous, bipartisan support!

For decades, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde have been trying to fix a survey error that denies them the right to pursue land claims. My bill will finally correct this historical wrong. And it will be enormously consequential both for the Grand Ronde Community and for Indigenous peoples’ rights in Oregon and across the country.”

I know a lot of Oregonians are especially interested in the topic of UAP’s, Andrea Salinas is in a difficult position in her district given how close the margins are so I think a little support for her from the UFO community in the future at the voting box should be considered.

Cheers!
