I just wanna bring into attention this little snippet from Matt Laslo last interview. All attention went into the “thousands of people wake up … desperate for evidence … but there’s none”, but this other snippet sounded curious to me.

https://www.askapol.com/p/himes-dismisses-senate-uap-hearing-w-aaro (there’s a top bar for paid subscribers, if you scroll a bit, there’s another bar that’s open)

If you put the audio clip at 2:50 you’ll hear it. ML was making a comment about Senator Gillibrand bringing AARO for a hearing, and then Himes cut him and said:

“Senators need to get briefed, and then move on. Just way too much energy….”

He said that in an aggressive tone, which makes me think that this is a pain point for him, that is, legislators trying to bring about disclosure.

Curiously, he seemed genuine when saying that there’s nothing (of course, as a politician, this guy must know how to lie), but that makes me think… What’s so painful about the senators seeking a public hearing?

For context, he’s the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, which stripped down the Schumer Amendment. Take your own conclusions, but this interview makes me believe he is a huge suspect in having part on that (another detail is that he sorta pivoted around the amendment question when ML asked). Another suspect is of course Mike Turner, the chair of the committee.
