Someone was asking about events in the 1990s that could relate to the east coast “significant event” mentioned in Wilson-Davis menu. Don’t know if it’s related, but thought of 1996 TWA 800 tragedy and then found this: “Swissair pilot reports UFO near TWA crash site”

A Swissair pilot says his Boeing 747 was nearly hit by a UFO about 1-1/2 years ago near where a TWA jet exploded in mid-air.

The Swissair pilot and his first officer described the unidentified flying object as moving faster than any aircraft, without producing exhaust.

They say the incident happened near where a TWA jet exploded in the air off New York a year earlier, killing all 230 people on board.

The sighting remains a mystery.

The cause of the TWA crash remains undetermined.*
