The little talked about 1989 UFO flap that includes multiple police witnesses (including a Chief of Police) and corroborating accounts from multiple other police departments. Does this case deserve more attention?

Something out of the ordinary occured the town of Fyffe, Alabama in 1989. Given the credibility of the witnesses and the corroborating accounts, I would think that this case would get more attention from professional ufologists. There isn’t much on the internet regarding this flap but with multiple police officers from different departments reporting the same phenomena I would imagine that there are plenty of resources for any ufologists to research.

Why do you all think that this case hasn’t gotten much professional attention? Or, alternatively, has this case gotten a justified amount of attention and doesn’t require more? Are there any professional ufologists who have in fact researched this case and I simply missed it?

I’m interested to hear you all’s thoughts on the matter.
