The one thing putting me off about the hearing.

The term “non-human biologics”. Now I’m all for the belief that there is aliens and there’s a possibility that crafts have visited us, but the whole idea of actual living aliens coming here is hard for me to believe. Think about it in human terms, say if there were aliens on Mars, wouldn’t it be way more realistic for us to send unmanned drones to survey and examine them to determine if making actual contact was viable? What if they were incredibly violent? Or they carried a disease that could wipe us out? And even then, wouldn’t it be the safer option to make first contact digitally than in person? It’s hard to believe that a species that has discovered intergalactic travel, came all this way, and hadn’t thought about very obvious very possible issues beforehand. On the other hand yeah we don’t know how alien aliens truly can be, they might have never experienced violence or diseases, or maybe they’re immortal or have backups of themselves, who knows. But personally yeah, I find it really offputting.
