The UFO Phenomena and Pragmatism

Hi everyone,

I’ve been following this subject for some time and at the risk of getting completely hounded I want to present a point of view from a once believer to a now skeptic.

There is truly credence to the mystery of UFOs. We have a storied history with UFO sightings, real government secrecy and obfuscation, and a recent string of news articles and the governments admittance of not knowing what they’re observing, incredible witness statements, and more. It has all caught my attention and imagination, and I have been following this topic along for years now.

That said, the way in which many in the UFO community processes news and new information is through a near zealous lens of wanting the phenomena and mystery to be explained as alien, interdimensional, or non-human. There is an unhealthy bias amongst the online discussions of the phenomena that precludes many from rationally processing new information and insights.

This is a fact:

No one in the entire world has presented any physical, verifiable, first hand information to back up at least these major claims; that the US has biologics, that the US has recovered crafts, that aliens have visited the Earth.

What has been proven is obfuscation from both the US government and prominent figures in the UFO community. There is a story here involving parties within the government, the UFO community, and more. But, perhaps, just maybe, it doesn’t involve non-humans or aliens. More people should be open minded to that possibility. I’ve observed there is a zealousness that has perhaps allowed people to become so entrenched in their belief that they are no longer pragmatically looking at the reality of the situation and the current evidence before us. There is a conversation to be had about SAPs, UAPs, government secrecy, and prominent figures within the UFO community that is being drowned out by a zealous desire for there to be mysterious non-human or alien visitation.

Anyway, I do hope aliens have been visiting us but I am increasingly open minded to the possibility that it is not that — and I think users on this forum could be more open minded to this. The vitriol towards new reports, new information, or new critics is sort of off the charts.
