(I’m very new to Reddit so I apologize for any formatting issues or if this post isn’t allowed! I’ll definitely netly take it down if it causes any issues.)

I just stumbled upon this Twitter thread about the director of the UAP task force, and as someone that is very new to the whole alien thing, I was kind of put off by everything that was brought up in the articles linked. (Werewolves, poltergeists… I mean WTH)

Like I said I’m really interested in the concept of aliens/extraterrestrials, but it’s hard to stay faithful (for lack of better word) when things like this come up, I really was excited when I first watched the hearing.

I just wanted to here you guys’s thoughts since I’m sure most of you are more knowledgeable and can provide more insight. I really do want to be convinced that this is something worth caring about!
