Was it just me, or did Sands seem to be mixing together things he read on the internet, with things he heard from others, with his own claimed personal experiences?

I just had a really hard time keeping each of these things straight, when I was listening to him speak. It was like a mish-mash of all of the above sources, and even if we take him at face value (I don’t) I was left totally confused whether he was just repeating things he officially (or unofficially) heard or read, and what he personally experienced.

Did anyone else have this reaction as well?
