Why is UAP thinking so aligned with current technology

A few points to make.

If something could travel at faster than/ near the speed of light it would be undetectable with current technology. We literally wouldn’t see it.

If disclosure was to happen they would literally just appear out of nowhere.

Flying discs, orbs or whatever are all roughly the right size for us to comprehend (which is kinda sus) Not all planets have the same gravity. The aliens could be the size of a 20 story building with a craft the size of the moon.

No one would keep this a secret, they would be unable to.

Current UAP would be drones, surveillance. As we know now drones are much cheaper and less risky to use.

No evidence of power generation; well light is pretty far travelled to get here from X, Y & Z so by the time it gets here we might not be able to see anything even looking at the right place. If something sometime is noticed it will gradually increase over the time it is received. Unless we hit the jackpot.

I get that some people just won’t believe in aliens due to the understanding we currently have of physics. Well the only example we have for this is to look to the past. If for example we had told you in 1780 what was capable now we would have been burned alive.

I believe it’s coming, small scale life would do me as a certainty there would be other life forms in this galaxy. Although obviously rare.
