With current human satellite technology, it may be possible for a satellite to lock itself into an orbit such that it is always above a specific geographic point. However, that would take exorbitant amounts of fuel, and would be highly rare to ever occur at all beyond a test situation.

Therefore, keep an eye out. Ever heard of reports of objects in orbit that geolock? No, you wouldn’t, because the people watching that area aren’t people with open records. (NORAD) But if you have heard of or seen reports that could be something doing that, it would be highly interesting.

UAP have reported maneuvers that would require vast amounts of energy. Perhaps a geolocked orbit is a trivial matter for such craft, yeah?

Keep an eye out.
