If the war in Ukraine didn’t put the nail in the coffin on the idea of Russia having next-generation aerospace technology, this certainly does.

Russia’s two major airlines exclusively use planes built in the West. Russian President, Vladimir Putin clings to Soviet-era planes to show resiliency…

Meanwhile, “a Kremlin spokesman felt it necessary recently to reassure the Russian public that Mr. Putin’s planes were ‘very reliable.'”

The idea that Russia could be operating aerial vehicles with impunity in restricted United States military airspace is just laughable.
