Question about the Congressman blocking amendment

I don’t keep up with the news. I just kinda scroll through reddit and get updates here but so these guys are Republicans that are blocking correct? Like die hard conservatives? They are blocking for one reason only. Ozzcams razor tells me they are blocking because they want the tech to defend good ole America. They don’t give a crap about free energy, full stomachs and equality for the people. This is proud boys shit.
