A few months ago, there were a few threads on a triangular structure that was found in the US on google maps.
There was a fellow redditor who volunteered to go as he or she lived close by. I believe some money may have been crowdsourced for supplies and expenses. Last conversation I saw about this was that they were driving back and will post some updates. Tried to search for it but I don’t remember enough specific details to filter out the noise.
